High-Tech Transport: MRI Dismantling and Transportation in France

Last weekend, our team successfully completed a high-tech transport project in Aulnay-sous-Bois, France. On behalf of Canon Medical Systems Europe, we carried out the dismantling and preparation of an advanced MRI system for further transportation.

When transporting high-value technical equipment, proper preparation, specialist knowledge and precise execution are essential. That is why we pay close attention to both the technical and logistical aspects of every transport project.

Specialist MRI Dismantling

The work started on Thursday. Over the course of the weekend, our team carefully inspected and dismantled the complete MRI system.

As an MRI scanner consists of complex and sensitive technology, controlled dismantling is essential. Each component was therefore handled with care and prepared for the next stage of the transportation process.

In addition, the schedule was continuously coordinated with all parties involved. This allowed the work to be carried out efficiently, with the complete system ready on Monday for transportation to the cooling facility.

Complex Lifting Operations

The project also presented a unique logistical challenge. The MRI scanner was located on an upper floor of the building.

To safely remove the equipment from the building, a specialist lifting operation was therefore required. A work platform and crane were used for this purpose.

Thanks to thorough preparation and close cooperation between all parties involved, the MRI system was safely and carefully lowered to ground level. The equipment was then prepared for further transportation.

High-Tech Transport Requires Specialist Knowledge

Transporting high-tech equipment involves much more than simply moving an installation from one location to another. With complex and valuable systems, every step of the process is important.
